Focusing on a Healthy Lifestyle During Quarantine

Over the last couple of months, I have been doing what I can to get exercise and eat right as Mark and I are staying home and social distancing. Try as I might, I found myself gaining a little extra weight because when you're bored in the house and in the house bored...you tend to snack. Guilty!
With everything going on in the world, I was feeling it emotionally and physically. Try as I might, there wasn't really anything over the last couple of months that I felt like I could control (and that affected me physically because I am such an emotional eater). One day I realized that there was something I could control and that was how I spent my time. Did I really want to be spending endless hours scrolling through twitter and instagram? Was it smart to put myself in a place where I got so emotional that all I could think to do was snack in front of the tv? No. So I decided it was time to flip my way of thinking. Yes, eating was something I could control, but instead of doing so mindlessly I wanted to make it a priority to eat healthful foods and spend free time doing more than napping and watching tv.

I discovered Superfood Tabs in the nick of time! They are these tabs that contain SO many great ingredients, and you can just dissolve them in water, making for a delicious and energizing drink. After a few days of drinking them, I noticed that my body was starting to detox and I wasn't as hungry throughout the day. To be honest I wasn't sure what to expect... was this just another fad or "too good to be true" type of product?

  3. It's definitely been a challenge with quarantine! I still managed to maintain a running schedule because running was the only thing keeping me sane sometimes. And I actually ate healthier since I was having groceries delivered, I wasn't tempted to buy a ton of unhealthy stuff or stop at McDonald's.
