March Goals
March 2018 // By Natalie Jean
Happy March, friends! I can't believe that we're already 66 days into the year. Looking back on day 1 I can't believe how fast time has flown and how successful I've been with my yearly goals. Seriously, deep down I wasn't sure if I would be consistent in keeping my resolutions/goals but I am actually doing pretty well!
Mark and I have been so very busy these last few weeks and decided that we should take a little break over some hot tea and set our goals for this month. We decided to make it easier we wouldn't go too overboard because we each have our own personal things that will take up our time this month, but having a few goals will keep us motivated in our free time!
Natalie's Goals:
+ Read 1 book. I've started more books than I can count, and I am determined to finish one!
+ Clean the kitchen. Top to bottom - vacuum, mop, do the dishes, clean the stove top and counters, get all the grime outta there!
+ Finish all the little details for planning the Oakmoss Collective Small Business Owners Dinner. Its coming up in April and I can't wait!
Mark's Goals:
+ Cut out soda completely.
+ Watch every video on Youtube ever! (JK I want to limit my distractions this month).
+ Not let work completely take over all my time and stress me out. This month is really busy (like, non-stop from 8-5) so when I get home I want to make sure I leave certain things at the office and limit overwhelm.
Our Goals:
+ Start planning our next trip! We haven't nailed down a destination yet but we have a couple of ideas.
+ Work on our spring/summer budget.
+ Go for more walks. The weather has been all over the place, but hopefully it gets a little warmer and we can get outside some afternoons to get fresh air and exercise.

Great goals for March! I definitely want to get outside more, too. Luckily we've been having a lot of warm days here in Georgia so that's not too much of a problem. I'm trying to read more, too and deep cleaning my house is something I really need to focus on.
ReplyDeleteOh that's nice! I can't wait until PA warms up!
DeleteReading! Always such a good goal- I never seem to make time for it, but when I finish a book I have such great satisfaction with myself. Good luck!

Me too! But its rare that I do. Haha! I need to finish a book!
DeleteI think it's great that you set goals together. It's a lot easier to keep them if someone else is encouraging you and holding you accountable along the way.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! Accountability is so important.
DeleteLove these goals Nat! I like that you and Mark make goals together. Probably sounds silly because you're married, and why wouldn't you make goals together...but honestly not a lot of couples do this, everyone usually their own stuff going on. Great goals, both of you :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Amy! :) And I agree, sometimes its hard to be on the same page but I'm glad we take the time to make them together.
DeleteThese are really great goals! It's awesome that you guys set goals together, me and my husband do as well. :) Good luck with all of them!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Good luck with yours too :)
DeleteGood luck tackling the kitchen! I just cleaned our fridge and OMG it feels good haha
ReplyDeleteI want to build my resource library for my blog!! I started today and I'm excited about it !

I know it'll feel good to clean when its all said and down but I just DONT want to. haha!
DeleteI love relaxing morning walks as well; I’ve been taking them sort of unplanned, and it makes the day that much more bearable!
ReplyDeleteIt really does! And I always feel like I accomplished a little more when I take a walk that day.
DeleteMy goals are to walk 10K every day, lose 10+ lbs, and launch 2 new products! Thanks for sharing your goals and motivating me!
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome goals! Hope that they're going well!
