Sunday on the Susquehanna

Happy New Year! (I know, I know. I'm a week late.) I've had the worst writer's block these last few days. Maybe its because the holidays wiped me out, or maybe I've just been busy with life. Who knows, but I have about 5 drafts written that need a little extra work before I hit "publish."

Until then, I wanted to wish A Tiny Traveler readers a beautiful start to the new year and share some photos from the weekend. Mark and I went for a walk and got coffee and then went down to see the partially frozen river. It sounded like a great idea at the time but OH MY GOSH was it cold! I really wanted to write up a style post (more photos and the post to come) but after we snapped a few photos we ran back to the car and blasted the heat. I literally couldn't feel my fingers or toes. Not the picturesque afternoon we originally planned for.

But it was still fun and afterwards we warmed up under blankets and watched Netflix, our current binge show is Lie to Me, and giggled about how ridiculous we must have looked as we ran back to the car from the river! Sometimes in the moment things seem unimportant, but looking back I love that little memory and I'm glad we got to share it. So without further ado, our chilly outing to the Susquehanna River.
