At Home Coffee Tasting + Spooky Donuts
Happy
Halloween! I've never really been a huge fan of the holiday, although anything
that makes cats and dogs and little kids look twice as cute s fine by me.
Seriously, I saw a picture of a little girl dressed like an old lady yesterday
and was in tears because I was laughing so hard. To be quite honest, I love
Christmas and I'm listening to Christmas carols and eating a bowl of Christmas
Crunch as I type this. Christmas is on my brain :)
Today
I wanted to share a few shots from an at-home coffee tasting that Mark and I
had over the weekend. It was a lot of fun and we learned new ways to find
tasting notes and appreciate different roasts of coffee. We even made a little
video that Mark edited for the experience!
If you have a few minutes, check out our blind coffee tasting! It's a really fun process and gives you a whole new look on coffee.
One
thing that we love about living in Harrisburg is how close we live to the Broad
Street Market. There are so many great food stands and produce stands where we
shop every weekend. We got the coffee for the tasting from Elementary CoffeeCo. and then followed up our tasting with delicious donuts from Evanilla Donuts! She made some fun versions for Halloween like orange pumpkin sprinkles,
vampire bite, and Oreo skeleton bones!
Then I got a little silly from all the caffeine and sugar and danced in the kitchen with donuts. Thanks for the yummy treats, Evanilla and Elementary Coffee Co.!
