An Urgent Prayer Request

For those of you that are a part of The Peony Project or Walk the Same, you may have already seen my post but for those of you unaware, I am asking that you join together with me in prayer today.

Last night my senior pastor and his wife were in a terrible motorcycle accident. Currently Pastor Bryan is in the hospital undergoing medical procedures and decisions about surgeries after having a surgery last night to remove his left leg. It brings me great sorrow and a heavy heart to say that his wife, Lynn, did not make it. She went home to be with the Lord right after the accident.

They have three sons, one who is a friend and another who is married and whose wife is expecting their first baby. This time is so hard on the family and I just ask that you can join together in prayer for them.

Pray for comfort and peace. Pray for acceptance and faith. Above all pray for the healing of Bryan and that there is no infection and the pain subsides. Pray for his heart and his spirits in receiving the news of his wife. I feel a great weight for their family and for my church family.

Glad Tidings is a very large church and has been a place of comfort and learning and worship and growing closer to God for many years. It has been my home church since the 2nd grade and seeing a crisis like this breaks my heart. Please pray for those that are in the congregation and on staff (including my parents) that they would have strength and wisdom and that they would stay strong in their faith and draw near to God.

Today the church is open from 9am-8pm for prayer and if you're in the area and can come, you're more than welcome to. Please lift up the Koch family and the Glad Tidings church family today.

Psalm 34:18 – "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed."

Matt. 11:28 - "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
