Spending the Day with Me + A Giveaway.

Today I thought it would be fun to share a little bit about what a typical day looks like behind the scenes in my life, aside from what I blog about. If you keep scrolling, you may even reach a little surprise!

Today was a simple day, but a nice one none-the-less. Mark has been away in Pittsburg since Thursday helping out at a church's youth retreat and got back this afternoon. This morning my mom and I did some research for a reception caterer for Mark and I's wedding and we also cleaned up the house a little bit. Tomorrow is my little sister's 8th birthday, so we are going to have birthday dinner and then on Saturday she's having a little party with her friends. (Check back later this week for a party craft DIY!)

When Mark got home, we made lunch and watched some Netflix while we talked about his trip.

After lunch, we went to Target and Starbucks and got some yummy drinks and I got some new stationery. Have you ever seen the dollar section at Target? Their stationery is always so cute!

After Target, Mark and I went back to his house and watched Ghost Busters, played Backgammon, and then I knitted for a little. It was a nice way to start Spring Break! Also, side note Betsy is writing a review for fabletics on Tuesday and I saw the pieces she got in person...so cute! Check it out here.

And finally, my bridesmaid dress for Betsy + Aj's wedding came in the mail today! I'm so excited!

And now.... (drumroll please)... it's time for a giveaway!

It's nothing too crazy, but this week enter for a chance to win $35 paypal cash. Who doesn't love a little extra cash? Enter below and tell your friends!

  1. I had no idea Target had a dollar section for stationary! That is going to be a serious problem. Thanks for putting me on and hosting a sweet giveaway (I agree, we all can use some extra cash!)

  3. Yeah in most stores there is a dollar section right in the front when you walk in and there is usually a bin with really cure greeting cards, pens, paper clips, etc. I love it!

  5. It sounds like you had a lovely day. :) Target has such great stuff! I don't have one in my town, but that might be a good thing for my bank account, haha
