Grateful Heart Monday
Happy Monday everyone! This is one of the worst kinds of Monday in my opinion. It's the last day of my fall break and tomorrow begins the mundane and routine. Today I want to share about my fall break and how thankful I am for all that has happened. I'll also be sharing this post with Ember Grey's Link Up.
On Thursday and Friday I spent time with some friends and we had such a good time. We had a big sleepover complete with a billion pillows, movies, silliness, and a big old breakfast.
Then on Saturday, I had lunch with my mom in Wayne at Raw Can Roll Cafe. Then we went shopping at the outlets and spent the rest of the night in our jammies watching Food Network. It was the perfect mother daughter day.
Sunday was Crossroads Takeover Day and I had the opportunity to sing on the worship team. It was so much fun to have all of the kids in the main sanctuary for worship and the message. After church I went with Mark and Betsy to cheer on their uncle and parents as they completed their 150 mile bike ride to Conquer Cancer. It was awesome! I'm so proud of them and their endurance and hearts to make a difference and do something awesome to raise money and awareness.
Finally, today I went with my family to the pumpkin patch. We had so much fun!
Overall, I had a really great break. How was your weekend?
Oh my gosh- it's so crazy seeing Betsy's bf on your blog! :) I didn't realize you know them in person! (I have yet to meet Betsy in person but hope that day comes soon.) Also, I *just* watched Sabrina w/ Audrey Hepburn. Such a classic :) Thanks for linking up, Natalie! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah I am actually dating Betsy's brother! Aj and I grew up together too. Haha we're all really close and I love it :) I saw Sabrina for the first time a few days ago, and I loved it!! Audrey Hepburn is so good. You have a great week too!

ReplyDeleteSuch a great weekend!! Sleepovers with the girls are so much fun. It's awesome that you went to support the ride, that was a pretty awesome thing that Betsy's parents did :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish that my school had a fall break! It always seems to come at just the time when I'm feeling a tad stressed out with school. But, alas, I can't do anything to change that. It looks like you had such a fun time!
