Girl's Camping Trip at Pine Ridge

This post is sponsored by Pine Ridge Campground. We had such a great time, and all words are honest and my own.
A few weeks ago, my friend Danielle and I had the opportunity to kick off the summer with a little camping getaway. It was seriously the best way to embrace the new season! We decided to stay at Pine Ridge Campground in their wonderful tiny home and it was so pleasant. The other campers on site were also really friendly and welcoming which was a great way to start our trip.

After our first cozy night in, we went on a hike for a few hours on the Appalachian Trail. We met a couple of hikers and heard their crazy stories. Some hiked all the way up from Georgia and planned to reach the end of the trail by summer's end. So cool!

Having a combination of the great outdoors, camping, and a roof/AC was amazing! I love being outside, but to be honest I am not a huge fan of summer because of the humidity and sweating from being hot. No thanks! So, having a spot with AC to come back to after a hike was nice. We also loved that we could roast marshmallows by the campfire and cook our dinner outside too.

If you're in Eastern/Central PA looking for somewhere to camp, I highly recommend Pine Ridge Campground. The location is great, the hospitality is refreshing, and you'll have a relaxing + unique vacation experience :)

  1. Love this! My husband and I are big fans of camping/the outdoors -- but I will say tent camping can get a little rough after a while. I bet that AC was so nice! :)
