A Tiny Traveler + The Quirk Hotel
A few weeks ago, Mark and I had a chance to go on vacation for a few days. Part of our trip was spent in Richmond, Va and we had the nicest time! Sometimes getting away for a few days is just what you need.
While in Richmond, we stayed at the beautiful Quirk Hotel. Guys, this hotel was a dream! I'm already trying to plan our next trip back so we can stay here again. The decor and design are just my style and the staff was so friendly and accommodating; definitely an ideal place to stay. Brace yourself for lots of photos and our travel vlog at the end of this post!
One thing that I absolutely loved about Quirk was that it was located right in the midst of everything. Aside from the Poe Museum and Belle Island, we walked everywhere! There was also a rooftop bar and lounge and you could see a good majority of the city from the top. Definitely a winner in my book!
In the lobby, a small little cafe of sorts awaits you every morning (which we were obsessed with because typical hotel coffee is *not* tasty). Coffee, croissants, and making plans for the next two days was a slow, beautiful start to vacation.
After we checked in on Tuesday, we explored the area and had some coffee (as well as the best tacos ever!!) and then ended the evening on the rooftop bar/lounge. As mentioned before, the view of the city from on top of the hotel was beautiful, especially at sunset. Definitely a must if you're staying at Quirk Hotel!
Check back later this week for a post on the 5 places you need to check out next time you visit Richmond, and be sure to book a stay at Quirk Hotel! Have you ever visited Richmond or stayed at the Quirk? I'd love to hear all about it in the comments. Also, enjoy these vlogs that my husband made of our vacation.
