Catching Up with A Tiny Traveler.

The past few weeks have gone by so quickly and have been so busy! I cannot believe that I am days away from graduating college! Where has the time gone?

Later this week I have a few great posts coming your way, but today I just wanted to let my readers catch up with my life and also take a few minutes to share some things that I am thankful for for Emily's link up! (If you haven't read her blog or linked up for a Grateful Heart Monday, you can join in this week.)

So what have I been up to? Well, the last time I really posted about my life was around Easter and let me tell you, a lot has happened since then! Be prepared for a little bit of scrolling. First of all, there was a lot of school work. Papers, projects, lectures, and end of the year presentations. I am so glad that they're all over with. One final and one paper stand between myself and summer!

On a more fun note, I went to the University of Valley Forge's spring banquet a few weeks ago and had such a nice evening. I got to dress up with Mark and a few of my friends and we had a fancy dinner and took photos and the senior class was honored. It was a really nice evening.

I also had some time to spend with Mark and work on wedding plans (which no matter what anyone says, is a bit stressful when you're two poor college students). We ordered our invitations and are working on finding a caterer, as well as picking out cake flavors and I think that maybe I'll have a wedding dress soon (fingers crossed!).

We also started our premarital counseling which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to any engaged couple because it helps you talk about things like communication, finances, conflict resolution, and family planning. I am learning so much and I'm even more excited to say "I do"!

I also had the opportunity to Jimmy Fallon live! He was hilarious! It was so much fun and afterwards Mark, Christian, John and I went to this great coffee place in NY.

Another awesome thing that happened was that Oakmoss finally launched!! I will write a post more about that for later this week, but for now, visit the site and take a look around. Let me know what you think and sign up for the newsletter!

In addition, we got our caps and gowns for graduation! I am so excited and nervous and just in shock, to be honest, that I am finally here. Wow. I am graduating from college

I also got my first So Worth Loving tee last week! It is so cute and comfortable and represents a fantastic company. Click here to read more about them!

Last, but not least (because it was the best break in the weekend), there was a food truck festival in Phoenixville! There were so many different trucks and tons of people and dogs and live music and it just gave me this burst of energy to finish out the semester.

I feel so blessed (and a little stressed) and I cannot wait to walk off this campus with a degree and face the summer with wedding plans and sunny days spent with family and friends!

What have you been up to?

  7. You NEED to! We went on the website and tried to reserve tickets every day and finally did! I think they do it on a first come, first serve basis on the site and then you have to go to NY to see the actual taping. Let me know if you ever get the chance! I can tell you about some great places to get coffee within the area of the studio!

  8. Oh that's awesome :) I'm in a parenting psych class right now and love it! Well actually I just had the final so it's over, but it was a great class. I'm a chemistry major -- I want to teach high school chem eventually!
