December Goals + Christmas Gift Guide

The first week of December is coming to a close, and it has been wonderful! Well, almost wonderful. I'll admit I've been stressed with end-of-the-semester assignments and studying (finals are next week) but after all this work is finished I can completely enjoy the wondrous season of Christmas!

To celebrate the end of the week (and to take a little break from studying) I've created a list of December goals that I have for myself as well as a gift guide for the traveler, the giver, and the creative! These are gifts that are either great for adventures, help someone else out, or help the receiver express themselves with art or music. I would love to know what you think in the comments below, or if you've got any gift guides or december goals on your blog, too!

Starting off, we have gifts for the traveler. Who doesn't love a good travel coffee mug? Or maybe a new camera to capture all the sights?

The next gifts that I love are for the type of person that loves to help others. With these gifts, buyers can know that their money is going to help someone in need or to better a community in some way!
Market Colors is one of my favorite places to search for jewelry, scarves, or handbags. Read about them here.

Out of Print is another organization that I love. They've teamed up with Books for Africa and every purchase donates books to poor schools in Africa that are in need. They have the cutest stuff from tees and bags, to books and stationery!

Finally, we have the gifts for the art lovers, the music lovers, and the creatives! On top of giving a gift of something creative like a puzzle, a sketch pad, or some yarn and knitting needles, I've discovered some pretty unique gifts too!

I hope that you found some ideas of gifts to give! I know that I may be buying one or two of these for some friends of mine. To wrap up this post let me just go over my December goals real quick. (There aren't many so this month won't be too hard to stick to!)

*show kindness to everyone I interact with in some way
*smile more than I frown
*read the Christmas story in Luke with family
*make Christmas cookies
*pass all of my finals

Do you have any goals for this month? How can you wrap up the 2014 year?
