A Tiny Traveler Online Book Club!

That's correct! You read right :)
I'm starting a book club.

You can either get the book yourself and read along or read the excerpts that I will be posting every week. Check the blog on Thursday evenings for updates and feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below! I am so excited and can't wait to get this started!

The book I chose for this month is Beth Moore's "So Long Insecurity, You've Been A Bad Friend To Us" and below you can see a few of my favorite pieces from the introduction.
The book is 350 pages, 18 chapters and filled with some life-changing stuff! (or so I've heard). We'll be doing a book every other month and they'll range from a number of genres. I don't want to do specifically popular books or fiction books or self-help books, but have a sort-of cornucopia of a selection. If you're interested in being a part of the A Tiny Traveler Book Club just leave your name and email below in the comment section and I'll send you an email each month about where you can find the book at a good price, my personal thoughts about the books, and we can discuss options for the next & upcoming books as well!

Excerpts from the intro that I loved:

"Regardless of our professions, credentials, or possessions, the vast majority of us are swimming in a sea of insecurity and trying our best to hide behind our goggles."

"We're going to have to let the truth scream louder to our souls than the lies that have infected us. That's what this book is all about. It invites us to focus solidly on one issue that causes countless others."

"We can sit around and act like victims, talk about how unfair all the gender pressure is, and grow less secure by the second, or we can choose to become well equipped and get out there and do some real living."

I know that this book is mainly written for women, but guys can be a part of A Tiny Traveler's book club too! Don't be shy fellas!

Spread the word, grab a copy of the book, and get reading :) Oh, and don't forget to leave comments with your opinions, too!

(And be sure to follow the hashtag #atinytravelerbookclub on twitter as I tweet some great lines I find as I read!)
