twelve days of christmas: day twelve. - A Tiny Traveler

twelve days of christmas: day twelve.

9:45 AM

Today is the last day of my twelve days! How sad, yet how wonderful. It's the first day of my family vacation in upstate New York, so I'm excited to just relax and enjoy time with my Hagen relatives and Mark :) {Yes, he came as well!} I am very excited. It took us about 5 and a half hours to get here and the vacation activities started right away. First we had lunch, then we went to a few shops and my grandparents gave us a mini tour of the town of Auburn. It's so quaint!
Today we are opening presents, going sledding, and having a big dinner.
Mark has survived so far, he seems to like this side of my family :) We are having a nice time.
That's my last appreciation piece.
My family.
Last Easter.

You can't choose your family, but you should find the best in them and be thankful for what you do have. I love them all so dearly, mom's side, dad's side, and stepdad's side. And Mark's family too! They all have different qualities and quirks to them and I am so happy that I can say I know them and I'm related to them all. They're so fun.
Here in New York, I'm spending time with my dad's side of the family. Lots of bluegrass music, family movie and game time, and snow!

Mark's family is very creative and innovative and I always have fun with them. I spent Christmas afternoon with them and I had a fabulous time!
Haha* I love this picture
My mom's side of the family, the Italian side, is so much fun too! So much character and laughter. I didn't get to see them this Christmas though because my Grammie didn't make dinner. She came up for the Christmas Eve church service though and I was so happy to see her :)

I love, love, love my family.
